I totally get why Jhonna and Maverick picked the CPR Lodge in Invermere for their elopement. It’s one of those places that feels like a little secret—tucked away close to Kinsmen Beach, surrounded by trees and park space, with a cozy kind of charm you don’t often find.
It’s not just pretty—it has history. The lodge was first built in the 1920s by the Canadian Pacific Railway for its workers, then turned into a summer camp, a girls’ retreat, and eventually a family home before being moved to its current spot in 2010. These walls have seen nearly everything, and now they get to be part of love stories too.

If you’re after a laid-back, nature-filled wedding that doesn’t break the bank, this venue is such a win. You can rent it for as little as $215 a day on weekdays or go all-in on a weekend package from Friday to Sunday for $530 total. Yup, the whole weekend. That’s almost unheard of in a place this scenic. And it’s not just for weddings—you can book it for birthday parties, retirements, or other cozy celebrations.
There’s enough room inside for up to 70 guests (with tables and chairs set up), and the venue even comes with 11 round tables and 80 folding chairs—so you’re not starting from scratch.

One thing to note: the CPR Lodge is a summer-season kind of place—available for rent from May to October. It’s maintained by the District of Invermere, and if you’re interested in booking it, you can submit a request form right here.
It’s such an easy venue to get to—right in Invermere, but still feels tucked away. Gorgeous photo locations like Wilmer Wetlands and Eagle Ranch are just a 10-minute drive, and even right around the lodge, we had no shortage of dreamy spots. When Jhonna and Maverick eloped this spring, the trees were just starting to blossom, giving us a soft, natural backdrop for photos and a sweet touch of color for the guests to enjoy.
Jhonna: First of all, Maverick and I wanted to express how grateful we are to have our special day be captured by you. These photos turned out amazing, we are in so much awe browsing the gallery. It definitely brought us back to that day. Thank you for the opportunity to relive that very memorable day through these creations of yours. PS. My eyes are watering because of overflowing joy just by looking at them. We will pick some of our most favourites and will get it framed soon. We appreciate everything, words aren't enough to thank you!
If you're dreaming of a relaxed, love-filled day like Jhonna and Maverick's, I’d love to help you bring it to life—feel free to reach out and let’s start planning your own beautiful mountain elopement.
